fluffy & light sponge cake-if followed correctly, it's a no-fail sponge cake,too.
1½ cup sugar
½ cup oil
½ cup orange juice
1 tsp vanilla sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1½ cup flour
Beat egg whites on high, slowly adding 1/2 of the sugar. Mix till stiff. Set aside.
In sep. bowl,beat yolks. Add other 1/2 of sugar, then the rest of the ingred.in order, Put mixer on low before adding the flour. Mix till no bumps. close mixer.
Add the snow (egg white mixture) by hand with spatula slowly and lightly till well mixed in.
Pour mixture into non-greased tube pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 350-for 45 minutesor till toothpick comes out clean when pricked near center.
Cool upside down.
Cut out with knife before trying to remove.
