This is a recipe favorite. Fast, easy, and tastes amazing. Guests will always ask you for the recipe! The filling can be made earlier and freezes amazing as well.
Tip: If you like your dishes spicy, add an extra teaspoon of Cumin, Paprika, and Cayenne Pepper. Enjoy!!!

INGREDIENTS













  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil










  • ½ Onion, Finely Chopped










  • 1 Clove of Garlic, Minced










  • 1 Large Tomato, Chopped










  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste (or Ketchup)










  • ½ lb Ground Beef










  • 1 Clove of Garlic, Chopped










  • 1 Tbsp Parsley, Minced










  • ¼ tsp Cumin, Paprika, Cinnamon, Cayenne Pepper










  • ¼ tsp Salt & Black Pepper










  • 1 pinch Ginger Powder










  • 1 (1 lb) Box of Puff Pastry Dough (Square Sheets)










  • 1 Sesame Seeds










  • 1 Egg (for Brushing the Dough)










  1. Heat the Olive Oil in a large frying pan. Add the onions and garlic until it turns golden color. Slowly add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.



  2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, add the ground beef, garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, & ginger. Mix well.



  3. Add the ground beef to the onion and fry for about one minute. Add the tomato paste and cook until meat is brown.



  4. Drain out the liquid from the meat filling. Lay out the dough squares on a flat surface and fill each square with 1 tbsp of the meat filling. (If dough isn't ready cut, I suggest taking a large cup and cutting out circles.)



  5. Brush each turnover with eggs. And sprinkle on sesame seeds (optional).



  6. Cook in 350F oven for 30-45 minutes. Checking every 15 minutes.
