INGREDIENTS













  • 1 (8 oz) package farfel










  • ¼ cup oil










  • 2 Tbsp sugar










  • 1½ tsp garlic powder










  • 1½ tsp salt










  • ¼ tsp black pepper










  1. Preheat oven on 400. combine farfel, oil, and spices in a pan. Brown farfel in the oven for 10-15 minutes. add 2 3/4 cups water and cover tight with foil. Bake for 1 hour.

This is a delicious recipe that I got several months ago, much better than cooked farfel. I make it every week for Shabbos. And always half gone same day! Also delicious with spelt farfel.
