This is a favorite cake in my family from when I was a young girl. It can be served frozen and will defrost quickly when cut up.

INGREDIENTS













  • 8 eggs - seperated










  • 1½ cup sugar










  • ¾ cup cake meal (very fine matzoh meal)










  • 3 Tbsp Cocoa










  • ¼ cup sweet red wine










  • ¼ cup orange juice










  1. Separate the eggs. Beat the whites into a snow.
    Mix remaining ingredients.




  2. Fold the yolk mixture into the beaten whites.
    Pour into bundt pan or 9x13.
    Bake at 350 for 1 hour
