A friend of mine gave me a stack of recent Ami Living magazines. I found this recipe in their recipe section. It sounded simple and good. I baked it last night and it's definitely a winner in my family!
3½ cup flour
3½ tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup oil
21 oz can apple pie filling
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix all of the dry ingredients first, then add liquids and divide dough in half,
Press half the dough smoothly on bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Gently spread the apple pie filling over dough layer.
Crumble the remaining dough mixtue on top of pie filling.
Bake for 1 ½ hours, or until top is crisp and golden.
