I got this recipe from a small recipe collection book sold for charity, I tried this recipe without the mustard since not all family members liked it
1 pack malawah frozen dough
2 packs cole slaw mix
2-3 large onions, diced
- duck sauce
Heat oil in a pot, then add onions into pot and saute. Then add cole slaw mix and saute in oil for about 1 hour. Spice with sugar, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Roll out each dough with flour. Brush dough with mustard. Cut into 8-12 wedges for big kipelech and 12-14 for smaller size. Place 1 tablespoon of filling towards the wider part. Roll up like kipelech and brush with duck sauce.
Bake on 350 for 25-35 minutes.
