INGREDIENTS













  • 1 sheet of puff pastry










  • 1 cup instant mashed potato flakes










  • ¼ cup boiling hot water










  • 2 Tbsp mayonaise










  • 1 Tbsp margarine










  • ½ tsp garlic powder










  • ½ tsp salt










  • 1 egg, beaten










  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, optional










  1. In a small container, add mashed potato flakes and boiling hot water just until all flakes are wet, mix. Add margarine to hot potatoes. Add mayonaise until creamy consistency. Add in garlic powder and salt, mix all together.



  2. On a piece of aluminum foil, open the puff pastry sheet and smooth out the edges. Place mashed potato filling on one side of sheet, then cover and using the tongs of a fork make pretty indentations in the edges of the puff pastry.



  3. Shmear beaten egg over puff pastry and sprinkle sesame seeds for design.
    Bake @ 350F until golden brown, about 30minutes.
