A real easy recipe to prepare in the morning and serve for dinner.

INGREDIENTS













  • 2 cup chopped carrots (can use baby carrots)










  • 1½ cup dried lentils










  • 2 lb bonless, skinless chicken breast










  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic










  • ¾ tsp salt










  • ¾ tsp tumeric










  • ½ tsp ground cayenne










  • ½ tsp cinnamon










  • 4 cup chicken broth (can use vegetable)










  1. Place all ingredients in the order listed in crockpot. (if you dont have only chicken breast, i usually use cut up chicken, just remove the skin and keep the bones. they add more flavor :) )



  2. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce to low and cook 7 more hours. OR cook on high for 5 hours.



  3. Serve on a bed of rice.
