All ages love this sticky treat!
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cup brown sugar
Â½ corn syrup
1 tsp salt
Â½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
20 cup popped popcorn
1 cup toasted peanuts (optional)
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.
Pour in a thin stream over popcorn and peanuts, stirring to coat.
Spread out on a baking pan and cool.
