My sister in law once aked me to make this salad for a party a few years back. I haven't stopped making it since. This salad tastes great with meat or chicken; it has a sweet and tangy dressing which adds a lot of flavor to it.

INGREDIENTS













  • 10 oz Mushrooms










  • 1 Package Lettuce










  • 20 Grape Tomatoes










  • 1 cup Croutons










  • 6 oz Honey Glazed Almonds










  • ¼ cup Oil










  • ¼ cup Sugar










  • ¼ cup Vinegar










  • ¼ cup Ketchup










  • ⅓ cup Mayo










  • ½ tsp Salt










  • 1 tsp Fresh Garlic crushed










  • ¼ tsp Paprika










  • ½ tsp Mustard










  1. Saute the mushrooms in a pot for 5 minutes.



  2. Meanwhile wash the lettuce and tomatoes and place it in a salad bowl. (optional to cut the tomatoes in half)



  3. Add the almonds and the sauted mushrooms to the bowl.



  4. Place all the dressing ingredients in a mixing bowl.



  5. Mix by hand or hand blender to get a really smooth texture.



  6. Pour over lettuce and serve.
