This chicken sounds complicated but its so easy you wouldn't believe it. It makes a great presentation and tastes even better! An absolute winner!
3 large onions
3 Tbsp soy sauce
6 Tbsp oil
1 cup brown sugar
6 chicken bottoms
1 slivered almonds (optional)
Slice the onions into rings and saute the onions in the oil until translucent.
Add the soy sauce and brown sugar and allow the sauce to boil.
Pour over skinned chicken, cover the pan and bake at 350* for 1 hour. Uncover the pan and return to the oven for an additional 1/2 hour.
For garnish, serve with toasted slivered almonds on top.
