I grew up on this recipe and we loved it. Now my kids are growing up on this recipe and they love it too. I guess its a kugel for the generations!

INGREDIENTS













  • 4½ cup water










  • 1 cup sugar










  • 1 stick margarine










  • 2 tsp salt










  • ½ tsp pepper










  • 16 oz bag of noodles/lokshen










  • 3 Tbsp oil










  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar










  • 2 eggs










  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a pot. Bring the mixture to a boil.



  2. Once it has boiled, add the lokshen, oil and brown sugar. Allow this to sit for 5 minutes.



  3. Remove the pot from the flame and mix in 2 eggs.



  4. Transfer to baking pans and bake at 350* for 1 hour.

Delicious and so easy!!
I love making this recipe. I usually make a few at a time and freeze them. The last time I had my parents my father said this kugel is so good.

My family ate this kugal and loved it. I also made them in mini round pans which I like to do since this recipe freezes very well. I just take out as many as I need depending on that particular meal.
