INGREDIENTS

1 package angel hair pasta

1 bag purple shreded cabbage

5 scallions

4 Tbsp sliced almonds

4 Tbsp sesame

⅓ cup oil

½ cup vinegar

½ cup sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

cook up the package of angel hair pasta, when done put pasta in a container/pan...add in the bag of purple shreded cabbage, sliced almonds,and sesame

boil the rest of ingredients together: oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and black pepper

pour this dressing on top of the pasta

refrigerate....eat cold!!! Njoy!!!

I made this salad for my nephew's bar mitzvah and it was a big hit. The entire salad was finished in no time. The biggest plus was that it was a simple salad to put together. I'll definitely add to my list of salads.

I made this late Thursday night with whole wheat noodles, mixing up everything except the almonds. On Shabbos morning, right before serving, I tossed in the almonds. This recipe makes a big bowl of salad, and it's a good thing, because everyone loved it! Colorful and delicious, this recipe is a keeper.
