This crunchy, sweet coleslaw has an Asian flair that makes it a nice change from the usual cabbage salad.

INGREDIENTS













  • 1 bag shredded "angel hair" cabbage










  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds










  • ½ cup crispy rice noodles










  • 6 Tbsp white vinegar










  • ¼ cup brown sugar










  • ¼ cup vegetable oil










  • 2 tsp soy sauce










  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed










  • ¼ tsp black pepper










  1. Toss the cabbage, sesame seeds and rice noodles in a salad bowl.



  2. Mix the remaining ingredients in a cruet and shake well.



  3. Pour over the salad and toss to coat.
