Since I was a little girl, my mother made the most delicious margarine. We love to eat them on challah and matzah, and it's always a crowd pleaser. The key to this is using fresh herbs, and they can change dependent on what you love best!
3 sticks of margarine
4 cloves garlic
Â½ tsp salt
2 tsp fresh parsley
1 tsp fresh basil
1 tsp fresh majoram
Let margarine soften to room temperature.
Put garlic, herbs, and salt, into a food processor, and process until finely chopped.
Add margarine and process until mixed thoroughly.
Put into refrigerator until hardened and ready to serve.
