INGREDIENTS













  • 10 onions, sliced










  • 5 quarts water










  • 2 Tbsp beef soup mix










  • 2 Tbsp salt










  • ΒΌ tsp pepper










  1. Cook sliced onions in a very large pot, in a minimum of oil, over low heat, stirring periodically until onions are browned, approximately 45 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
