Flavorful but not saucy. Fairly healthy for special occasions or anyday.
1 tri-color pasta (I use Ronzoni Garden Delight)
3-4 cubes or cloves crushed garlic
¼ cup olive oil
2 tsp italian seasoning (or to taste)
1 Tbsp salt (or to taste)
1 handful chopped tomatoes - OPTIONAL
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot quickly before it dries out.
Mix together oil, garlic, and spices. Pour over pasta and stir to combine thoroughly.
Mix in chopped tomatoes if desired. If you're using tomatoes, make sure to do everything pretty quickly so the tomatoes get somewhat cooked in the hot pasta.
