INGREDIENTS













  • 2 8 inch tortillas










  • 4 Tbsp butter, melted










  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar










  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon










  • 1 Tbsp water










  • 4 Tbsp butter










  • 4 bananas, sliced diagonally, ¼ inch thick










  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.



  2. Place tortillas on a baking sheet, and poke tortillas several times with a fork. Brush both sides with melted butter. Bake until golden, 6 minutes. If they puff up, press them down with a spatula.



  3. While tortillas are baking, stir dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in 4 tbsp. butter until melted.



  4. Arrange banana slices in overlapping circles on tortillas. Go all the way to the edge of the tortillas. Brush brown-sugar mixture evenly over galettes.



  5. Bake until shiny, about 7-8 minutes. Cut into wedges. Serve warm, with ice cream if desired.
