A very simple recipe that is great for Friday night. The original instructions were to preserve half the fat and liquid from the beef, and you could do that, but I substituted beef broth for a healthier way to keep the mixture moist.

INGREDIENTS













  • 2 lb Whole Grain Pasta










  • 4 lb Lean Ground Beef










  • 2 Onions, chopped










  • 4 Cloves Garlic, chopped










  • 1 Container beef broth










  1. Boil Pasta according to directions on box. Drain & Set aside.



  2. In large skillet, saute onions and garlic until translucent.



  3. Add beef to onions and garlic and sauté until brown and cooked through. Drain fat and liquid.



  4. Add beef mixture to pasta and stir in beef broth. Serve hot.
