This quick and easy recipe uses a healthy shortcut, frozen chopped broccoli. (Make sure to buy chopped, not cuts or florets.) We make this kugel all the time. Freezes well. Adapted from Quick & Kosher.
1 (24 oz) bag chopped frozen broccoli, thawed
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 pinch cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
Pour mixture into a greased 9" round baking pan.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow to cool before slicing.
