Crispy wontons, delicious chicken filling...use as appetizer or main, has several steps but very worth it - they are soo good! Really nice at a Shabbos meal, everyone pops them!

INGREDIENTS













  • 0 (4 oz) tofutti cream cheese










  • 0 (2 Tbsp) margarine (melted)










  • 0 (3 tsp) dried chives










  • 0 (1 tsp) lemon pepper seasoning










  • 0 (4 oz) can mushrooms (drain & chop)










  • 1 pkg wonton wrappers










  • 0 (1 lb) chicken breasts










  • 0 lemon juice










  • 0 salad croutons, crushed (opt)










  1. Cut the chicken to appx 1" squares, drizzle with lemon juice and 1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning, bake at 350 for about 15 min.



  2. Mix Tofutti, margarine, chives, lemon pepper, mushrooms in a bowl. Lay out wonton wrappers - add appx tsp filling, put chicken piece on top and fold in the corners, sealing with water. Optional - spray both sides of the wonton (one at a time) with oil spray, dip in crushed salad croutons.



  3. Put on greased baking sheet and bake at 425 for 10 min, then flip the wontons & bake another 7 min till crispy. Serve with sweet & sour sauce.
