Milky cinnamon danishes that can be addictive! I am not a major fan of cinnamon but I love these!
Even better warm so pop them into microwave for ten seconds
4 cup Flour
2 oz Dry yeast
1 cup Warm milk
½ cup Sugar
⅓ cup Butter
1 tsp Salt
⅓ cup Margarine
1 cup Brown sugar
2½ tsp Cinnamon
½ cup Butter
1½ cup Icing sugar
¼ cup Cream cheese
1 Vanilla sugar
Mix all dough ingredients together and let rise for one hour.
Meanwhile prepare the filling and frosting.
Roll out the dough, shmear the filling and roll it up. Cut into pinwheels, rugelach style to desired thickness.
Cover the rugelach and let rise for 30 mins.
Bake on 400 for 15 min.
Allow to cool for few mins and shmear with frosting.
Makes 12 giant rugelach or whole bunch of small.
