This is a fantastic, quick, easy and very simple side dish. It tastes great and looks beautiful. Great for every day meals and pretty enough for those special occasions. Goes well with all main dishes.

INGREDIENTS













  • ½-¾ lb snow peas










  • 2 cloves garlic-fresh or frozen










  • 1 Tbsp dried basil










  • - salt and pepper to taste










  • ½ cup pine nuts










  • 1 Tbsp olive oil










  1. Saute garlic in olive oil until soft-5 minutes.



  2. Add washed snow peas( you do not have to remove the ends) and saute another 10 minutes. Do not overcook-snow peas should be crispy. Add basil and salt and pepper to taste.



  3. Place pine nuts in pan in oven to toast on 350 for about 10 minutes. Add pine nuts to snow peas and mix well quickly. Serve warm.
