Melt butter & mix with crushed chocolate chip cookies. Flatten in 2 9" round baking pans.
Mix all remaining ingredients except for praline paste until very smooth.
Add 3/4 lb. praline paste and mix well.
Bake at 300 for 2 hours. Cool in oven for another hour.
Bake in another pan 1/2 filled with water. (this avoids cracking)
Optional: bake in shaped pan. (If baking in shaped pan do not remove until cool) "my workmate did this in a flower shape for Shevuas and it was stunning!! a real hit!)
