This is great as a salad or a side dish. Ask your butcher to cut you a chunk of pastrami instead of slices. The cubes of the pastrami add a nice flavor to the salad.

INGREDIENTS













  • 1 package small pasta shells










  • 1 oil










  • 1 onion sliced










  • 1 box fresh mushrooms sliced










  • 1 soy sauce










  • 1 onion soup mix










  • 1 salt










  • 1 black pepper










  • 1 chunk of pastrami










  1. Cook the pasta and drain. Set aside.



  2. Saute the onions and mushrooms in oil. Add soy sauce, soup mix, salt, and pepper. Add to pasta and toss well.



  3. Cube pieces of pastrami and add to pasta. Serve warm or at room temperature.
