I love patato kugel and I was looking for a Recipe that would always come out great, this recipe just is foolproof!

INGREDIENTS













  • 7 loose idaho potatos










  • 1 onion










  • 7 eggs










  • 1 Tbsp salt










  • ¾ cup oil










  • ¾ cup boiling water










  • 1 pinch black pepper










  1. preheat oven to 500 degrees



  2. wisk all eggs



  3. then mix in ground patotos and onion



  4. mix the rest of ingredients



  5. put some oil at the bottom of bekelah



  6. pour in the batter



  7. bake at 500 for 40 min



  8. lower and bake at 400 for 40 min



  9. lower and bake at 250 for 1 hour

This was really really good. On Pesach I made it in my Braun. I'd love to make it during the year but I think it has too much oil too be eaten weekly. But the taste is very worth it.
