Great, simple side dish. Can be served at any temperature. Great for Yom Tov or any day. If you don't want to cut up a whole head of cabbage you can use 1-2 bags of shredded.

INGREDIENTS













  • 1 head of red cabbage cored and shredded or diced










  • ½ cup sugar or to taste










  • ½ cup lemon juice










  1. Put cabbage in large pot or saute pan. Sprinkle with sugar & lemon juice.



  2. cover and cook over low flame till cabbage is soft. Taste & adjust sugar & lemon juice to your liking.
