My husband is not into eating fish here in New York, especially since it's not fresh like in the UK. When I made this recipe he asked me to make it again. He loved it.
- oil in pan (thicker layer)
1 onion, sliced/diced
2 garlic cubes (or chopped garlic)
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 pieces tilapia, cut in half
- salt & pepper
Â˝ cup white cooking wine
Preheat oil in pan.
Sautee onions, garlic and mushrooms.
Sprinkle one side with salt & pepper.
Place into pan with veges. let it cook about 90 seconds.
Sprinkle other side and flip for another 90 seconds.
Pour wine over fish. Let it cook for 10 minutes or until wine reduces.
Squeeze lemon over it. Cook 1 more minute.
