INGREDIENTS













  • 6 carrots










  • 4 squash










  • 1 sweet potatoe










  • 1 parsnip










  • 1 turnip










  • 2 stalks celery










  • 1 onion - diced










  • - salt, pepper, garlic powder, chicken soup mix










  • 1 cup split peas (or more if you like thicker)










  • ½ cup white navy beans










  • ¼ cup pinhead barley










  1. Saute onion, Grate all the vegetables besides for the celery. add to pot and saute for at least 1/2 hour.



  2. In a seperate pot cook green and yellow split peas until soft.



  3. When vegetable have sauteed for 1/2 hour add in water, spices, beans, barley and celery. Add in cooked split peas. Cook for 1-1 1/2 hours.
