INGREDIENTS













  • 2 (14 oz) Cans of chickpeas










  • ⅓ cup Tahina










  • ¼ cup Lemon juice










  • 1 tsp Salt










  • 2 Cloves of garlic, halved










  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil










  • 1 pinch Paprika










  • 1 tsp Minced fresh parsley










  1. Place the chickpeas, tahina, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.



  2. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.



  3. Can add more garlic or remove to taste. The amount listed here makes quite a garlicy dip.

A tried it out on Friday and I felt that the hummus was too thick. I followed the recipe as is , if I do it again I would need to add water or more liquid. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great.
