Always a winner with my Yom Tov guest!
¾ cup water
1 Tbsp corn syrup
3 Tbsp ketchup
- pinch sugar
- pinch garlic powder
Chop and saute onions. When golden color, add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Either add sliced tongue to pot or place slices in pan and pour sauce over it. Bake covered on 350 for 25 min.
