This side dish is always a hit, and is a little more festive then plain cabbage and bowties.
1 (1 lb) bag large bowtie lokshen
Â½ lb pastrami cut into thin strips
1 (16 oz) bag bodek coleslaw mix
1 onion, diced
1 Tbsp oil
Â½ tsp salt
Â½ tsp pepper
Â¼ cup water
Cook bowtie lokshen according to package instructions
SautÃ© the diced onion in oil,
Add bag of cole slaw mix and strips of pastrami.
Add water and spices and let simmer until the cabbage is totally soft.
Mix with bowties and enjoy! serve hot.
