If your family goes for squash you can just make sauted squash and onion. It's the easiest. You just saute a onion in oil and add as many squash and some oil and let cook cook cook on a medium-low flame. add salt & pepper to taste.

why would you wanna do that? you will hardly taste the beer and it's very important to the recipe cuz it makes the chicken very soft ad tender.
