Are you referring to replace the cream cheese? I use gvina shamenet for cream cheese. And Tnuva for the soft cheese.

In Israel you can buy vacume packed whole wheat. Some are on shelves in the grocery, and some in the refrigerators. (Personally I like Rubinfeld)

I would make it like you make a calzone- use pizza dough and fill with cheese.

Thanks, I know I could use dry yeast (my sister has been trying to convert me) but I'm happy using fresh. Thanks for the ideas. I'll check them out .

I'm currently avoiding white flour and sugar. Otherwise there isn't any major hints or tips. Avoid processed food. Eat lots of vegetables and a little starches. I find diets work best when I compete with a friend. The winner of the week gets...

1 oz of yeast
Every week I make Challah and I'm left with 1 oz fresh yeast. Some weeks I make vanilla rugelach which uses 1 oz of yeast, but I really need some new ideas. Any recipes that use 1 oz of yeast?
