To save on paper while printing recipes you could print your stuff as adobe first and then just print the necessary sheets!

I'm not a huge fan of kugels as I tend to make lots of fresh side dishes. But we do like zucchini muffins Recipe #768 and strawberry rhubarb pie Recipe #344 .You can also try spaghetti squad kugel Recipe #1113

Yes, step 4 goes together with step 5. When I bake cheese cake I usually put the pan into a bigger size pan half filled with water-this avoids cracking!

This recipe is for 2 cheese cakes....

I don't remember exactly what i did for the topping-but probably did a bar of white chocolate with some confection sugar. (it needs to be a simple topping because the cheese cake itself is quite heavy!)

You won't get enough out of this one!!

Topic : Question on Recipe #1946

I am only beginning to learn about Kosher cooking and do not have a mentor yet.

The Pesach Apple Pie 'A secret Passover recipe from my aunt' has an entry on the ingredient list that is confusing. Possibly most of you will already know and would tell me. What is 1/2 potato starch? I tried to look it up but can't figure out if it is tsp., tbsp., cup or something that is already pre-measured that I could find in a store.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Seems like a cake I would like to try, however, does step 4 go before step 5? Also, step 1 says to flatten into 2 pans. So is this cake made in two layers or do you have 2 cakes from this recipe? Did you make a topping for this cake? Thanks and please clarify.

I have the same problem every Pesach. Eating lots of fresh produce really helps. Think salad and fruit. I also keep prunes on hand. The O-U guide usually has a brand that can be purchased at a regular grocery store--these seem more palatable to me than the heimishe brands. I think they are fresher. I agree with Cook Mama that whole wheat matzah tastes better, but it didn't add enough fiber for me.

Cappuchino, so for the first 2 dates or so we sat the boy down and put out food. After that things chilled out a bit..and we just greeted the boy at the door for 2 minutes or something like that. In my opinion ther's no need for the formal stuff once the dating parshah progresses!! no need to make the boy more nervous than he is!!!
So good luck, hope to hear simchos from you soon!!! let us know!!!

Is there any way of posting the recipe and only submit half ways. I usually get bothered while posting my recipes and can't do a whole recipe at once.

I know it is after Pesach sheni, but how about making some Matzah Meal Latkes. My family really likes them and they can be made either sweet or salty, depending of your families taste buds. I will post the recipe and picture today. By the way, I will be using matzah meal from Pessach, since I have some left. You can also make this recipe using regular matzah meal, but it sure tastes better with the Pessach matzah meal, since it is not so finely ground and that gives the latkes great texture.

whole wheat flour needs to be sifted with a smaller mesh sifter.

I always sift my flour with a fine mesh sifter. How do you sift wholewheat flour? It doesn't fit through.

Thank you so much, it sounds like you're quite experienced in this field.
Do you set out something for every date she goes on? Or just the first? When do you stop putting stuff out, if ever?
Thanks.
