I have tried the zyllis one and some others. They all peel too thin, good for decorating purposes but NOT for stir fries. I want something that will give me a matchstick carrot, not a sliver! Something, I can stirfry and still keep crisp.

Know what I mean, who has this magic peeler?

I have the oxo julienne peeler and I enjoyed it. Until one of my kids used it as a potato peeler and ruined it slightly. It still works but one or two of the blades are bent. I used it all the time to cut the carrots.

Which Oxo peeler is that one? Does it come with a cover? Could you still saute the carrots, are the carrots square shaped?

I think it came with a cover. Its black and looks like a regular peeler. The carrots look like it shredded carrots - but longer. Its square but a thin square.
