PLease write clear directions for recipe #54081, "everyone's favorite prailine cheesecake". The one posted now is impossible to figure out !!

sorry about the uncleaer recipe. I was starting to get my instructions down but page was lost and browser crashed. Didn't get a chance to get back to it. Will hopefuly get this done today once I get home from job.

Seems like a cake I would like to try, however, does step 4 go before step 5? Also, step 1 says to flatten into 2 pans. So is this cake made in two layers or do you have 2 cakes from this recipe? Did you make a topping for this cake? Thanks and please clarify.

Yes, step 4 goes together with step 5. When I bake cheese cake I usually put the pan into a bigger size pan half filled with water-this avoids cracking!

This recipe is for 2 cheese cakes....

I don't remember exactly what i did for the topping-but probably did a bar of white chocolate with some confection sugar. (it needs to be a simple topping because the cheese cake itself is quite heavy!)

You won't get enough out of this one!!
