i basically just subsitute oil for the margarine in any recipe and stick the batter into the fridge or freezer for about 20 minutes. It works great! sounds like you are working towards a healthier kitchen!

You can make it even healthier by using apple puree instead of the oil and the taste is amazing.

Why would you want to substitute marg. My attitude is that a little unhealthy cookie is worth it. Don't live on it but don't make any food into a boogey man.
