Well, thankfully we don't really buy anything expensive or "gourmet". We pretty much stick to the basic "cheap" stuff, so we're probably better off than most people.
I don't know if any of you on cookkosher eat at subway (ME! ME! ME!), but I've been doing some reaserch on the ingredients of their food. Boy was that enlightening especially since they advertise themselves as "healthy" and good for you! I'll leave an web address for their ingredients list, but it pretty much boils down to:
No bread, Gardenburger veggie patty NOT veggimax, swiss cheese, pepperjack cheese, parmesan cheese, provolone cheese, all veggies except for pickles, jalapenos, and banana peppers, and oil, deli brown and yellow mustards for the condiments.
