Remember this fabulous party? This year Shevy Weiss has done it again with a brand new vision in Blue! - CookKosher

At this Bar Mitzvah party, I transformed the home into a festive yet masculine setting. Different shades of blue--in the chair cushions, tablecloths, flowers, and even the bottles of water--complement each other to add to the effect.

If you’re planning a party towards the end of April or the beginning of May, choose cherry blossoms as your centerpiece. They’re a great value and make a big impressions--but are very fleeting.

Blue hydrangeas down low, and blue candles up high on a pedestal add accents at every level.

Use a moss purse to show off your bouquet in a natural setting.
