Many people I know already make a chicken recipe that calls for a ketchup-brown sugar sauce. But does that mean we shouldn’t feature one? No! There must be some CookKosher.com members out there who don’t already have these keeper in their arsenal. And if you’re one mom who is trying to figure out more dishes that your kids will actually eat, add this to the list: Sweet and Sour Chicken by member SonnyJoon.

One of the things we love about the recipes we posted in this series is that they’re tried-and-true recipes that other moms have used and loved. If it works for you, it will most likely work for us too.

Looking for similar recipes? Check out our other kechup-brown sugar chickens. This include recipes like sesame chicken, BBQ, teriyaki, and the quickest chicken ever...

I took a peak into SonnyJoon’s CookKosher kitchen. After your kids are done with their dinner, she has lots of easy, fun, and kid-friendly recipes you can make with them. Does your family love Black and White Cookies? Peanut Butter Bars? Sponge Cake?

She also fills you in on what you need to know to make sambousak, complete with step-by-step photos. It’s a great item to make for Purim (when we traditionally eat foods with something hidden inside because the miracle of Purim was a hidden miracle).

Looking for dipping sauces you can serve with this chicken? How about sesame or sweet hot sauce?

Or go sans sauce. The chicken is good on it’s own too.
