The Blue Bar Mitzvah
As an event planner I love to let color do the work of creating an aura and setting the tone at any affair. At this bar mitzvah, the masculine color of blue whisks guests away into an enchanting and elegant space.
Blue lighting changes the entire atmosphere and even the alters the color of the curtains. The vases are mirrored boxes, to double the impact of all the surrounding details, but simple enough to avoid detracting from the centerpiece.
Blue pashminas are elegantly draped across each chair for a dramatic and dazzling effect.
Drama! Dogwood branches reach the ceiling as they cross the table in 8 blue 3-foot tall vases. Even simple arrangements have a big impact when there’s numbers.
Blue goblets dot the table and tall and stately blue larkspurs command attention in the center
On the tables, deep purple zinnias provide an accent color to the crisp blue monotone, while floating candles in blue water bring another dimension to the tablescape.
On each table, an eyelet topper brings a formal and distinctive look to solid blue tablecloths, while still allowing the color to set to pop through.
