Need some more July 4th ideas? Here you go!
Start off with 2 large onions diced.
Saute them in a skillet with 2-3 tablespoons oil until brown and golden.
Place the onions in a bowl. Add about 3 tablespoons of dijon mustard.
With a hand blender, blend the onions and mustard.
You should now have a bowl of blended onions and a bowl of chopped parsley.
Combine the onions, parsley and salt and pepper with the ground beef.
The easiest way to form burgers is by using a burger press. The one above is cheap (less than 3 dollars) and can be purchased here. Before adding the meat, wet the inside with a little water, so that the burgers slide out easily.
With wet hands, form a ball. Place the ball in the burger press.
Press down the burger until it fills the press. Flip over on a piece of parchment paper. Twist the top to release the burger.
Viola, perfect burgers! Place in in a lined pan and cover. Freeze for 30 minutes or until you needed so that they maintain their shape while being cooked.
Grill or bake in the oven. Place it in a bun, with your favorite topping and enjoy!

looks great.
If you don't have a burger press you can also use the lid of a plastic disposable container.
I wish I had read this last week. It looks great; thanks for the clear and informative tutorial. I'm looking forward to trying this.
I did it yesterday for a family BBQ, was a huge success!!
