Moving Party

Written by Cook Kosher on Wednesday, 25 April 2012. Posted in Table Toppers

We received this party from member Riks who planned this moving party with cookkosher member Mimi. Photos by Rachel.  We love it and already looking for any opportunity  to recreate it. Anyone moving? - CookKosher

The theme was easy to plan as we were inspired by moving boxes. The boxes were the gift to the moving party gal - a practical gift - so she could start packing.

Bubble wrap served as our tablecloth, with brown and twine as accents for color.

Filled cheese canollis.

BJJ Muffins are always popular and get eaten first.

Cheese Pretzels

A coffee station with drinks. We might have taken the buble wrap a bit far :)

Aside from the pastires, we served croissants and salads placed on boxes to add some height to the table.

Lettuce with Grilled Vegetables

Pesto Pasta in Heavy Cream

a Red Cabbage Salad

and Al Di La Caesar Salad

I echo the above comments! Adorable--and what fantastic friends you are! Moving can be so overwhelming; this lightens the mood. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

    One beautiful and extraordinary party!
I love the way the chairs are even wrapped up like packages and the bubble wrap idea is really original!
