This is an easy 1-2-3 recipe . Its one bowl,no mixer and most importantly,tastes heaven.
Â¼-Â½ cup oil
Â½ cup white sugar
Â½ cup dark brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
Â½ tsp baking soda
Â½ tsp salt
1Â½ cup flour
Â½ pkt chocolate chips
Pour white and brown sugar in bowl with baking soda, salt, vanilla essence and egg.
Mix with spoon.
Slowly add flour and continue mixing. At this stage you might prefer to mix with hands.
Add 1/4 cup oil.The batter should be crumble like so add oil slowly making sure batter doesnt become moist .
Add chocolate chips.
Divide mixture into 2 oblong greased containers. I use the silver foil - long but narrow.
Place in pre-heated oven on 180C (350F) for 20 mins exactly. The batter might look too soft but it hardens when cooled. Immediately cut bar like peices whilst cake is still hot. Once cooled separate each choc chip bar and store.
