This is a simple, delicious winter favorite that always disappears from my table.
1 large butternut squash, peeled, cut in 1-inch cubes
2 large cooking apples, cut into ½-inch slices
½ cup frozen cranberries
½ cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp gluten-free flour mix
¼ cup butter or margarine
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put the squash cubes into an ungreased 9x13 baking dish. Then layer on the apples, and then the cranberries. Mix the gluten-free flour, salt, sugar, and nutmeg and sprinkle over top.
Dot the top with the butter/margarine (use more if you need, but I usually put four rows of three dabs and it works great).
Bake 50-60 minutes.
