This recipe is great for when you have those few extra slices of challah left over from Shabbos. I bake it on Sunday and it freezes great for whenever I need it!
1 small challah(or ½ large)
2 scoops vanilla sugar
1 instant vanilla pudding
⅔ cup oil
⅔ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
- cinammon and sugar (to sprinkle)
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, besides for the challah.Set aside.
Put sliced challah into separate bowl of water,remove crust. Squeeze each slice well and cut into small pieces.
Add the cut up pieces to rest of mixture and mix well.
Put into 9'' pan.
Sprinkle with cinammon and sugar, and bake for 1 hour uncovered.
