Meanwhile in a bowl, combine cornstarch, salt & pepper together. Mix. Toss the steak slices into the cornstarch mixture and coat.

Heat the deep frying with 1 Tbs oil, and quickly saute the onion, garlic and pepper for 30 seconds. And the sauce mixture and the strips of fried beef toss and heat through.
I loved it! It tasted like chinese from a take out store. I'm giving it four stars because my kids didn't eat it and they usually like chinese. I think I need to adjust it a bit for them.
