Using fresh string beans: Wash and snip off the ends. Place in baking sheet, toss in the oil and mix. Throw over the almonds, garlic and salt. Bake on 400 Degrees for 15-20 min. for it to be crunchy. (if you like it softer you can add more oil)
delicious light side dish!however i just ended up blanching the green beans and then sauteing them with garlic. I also pu tit into the fridge and rewarmed it in the oven later and it still tasted great and had great texture!
