INGREDIENTS













  • 1 cup butter or margarine










  • 2 cup brown sugar










  • ½ corn syrup










  • 1 tsp salt










  • ½ tsp baking soda










  • 1 tsp vanilla extract










  • 20 cup popped popcorn










  • 1 cup toasted peanuts (optional)










  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.



  2. Pour in a thin stream over popcorn and peanuts, stirring to coat.



  3. Spread out on a baking pan and cool.
